The Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal (pin), also known as the Vietnam Campaign Medal, is a South Vietnamese military campaign medal which was awarded to members of the South Vietnamese military for wartime service. Beginning on 24 March 1966, it was awarded to U.S. military for support of operations in Vietnam and in May of 1966 it was awarded to other allied foreign military personnel. It was awarded for two periods: 8 March 1949 to 20 July 1954, and from 1 January 1960 to the end of the Vietnam War.
