The Legion of Merit (LOM) is awarded to members of the Armed Forces of the United States without degree and is given for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services and achievements.

To receive Orders in time for Christmas:
The last day for outside the us is 5 December
the last day for within the US is 14 December
